Fafnir

Fafnir the Dragon  began as a collaboration in 2016 between Ms Narducci and her daughter, composer Sappho who at the time was a conservatory student.

 

Taken from the Norse tale of a cursed ring, the project was to match an electronic composition to a time sequenced video of live drawing.  

 

Ms Narducci was asked to select a scene from among her paintings and elaborate on it with drawings that tell a story. The video was later presented to children in one of Ms Narducci's after-school  drawing classes.
