About Lisa Narducci
Ms Narducci is a native of Brooklyn, NY U.S.A..
She is a retired carpenter and artist rekindling her love of walking among the tombstones wherever she travels.
No longer a Brooklyn resident, Ms Narducci has begun observing and recording images from her new life in Spain.
A graduate of the Hudson Valley's Bard College, Ms Narducci pursued her study of invertebrates, microorganisms and deep sea life. Her amorphic life forms were created with found materials, fabric, clay, wax and concrete.
She lived in Southern California for two years and produced outdoor works which remained in the wild or were washed away by the tide.

Stories for Children
The birth of Ms Narducci's daughter in 1994 shifted her focus slightly and she began spinning spooky yarns to amuse the children among her daughter's circle of friends.
The Bats
Ms Narducci's recurring subjects are American bats because they are magnificent animals whose ecological significance is undervalued.
She paints their portraits for safekeeping and to show their tiny thoughtful faces in the hope of gathering concerned citizens to advocate for them.
